Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An active HostAfrica account
- A subscription or access to the Site Builder feature
Step 1: Access the Site Builder
- Log in to your HostAfrica Client Area at hostafrica.com
- From the dashboard, click on Site Builder in the navigation menu.
- Click on Builder to launch the Basekit editor.

Step 2: Navigate the Editor
- Once inside the editor, click the Main Menu Toggle (usually located in the top-left corner) to expand the navigation panel.
- Click on Website to access your site and begin making edits.


Step 3: Add Content to Your Pages
- Navigate to the page or section you want to edit.
- Click Add Content to insert new elements such as text blocks, images, buttons, or other content sections.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to populate your content. You can use the AI-powered content generation tool to suggest and fill in text automatically if needed.


Step 4: Customise Your Website Design
- Click on Design in the editor menu.
- From here you can:
- Choose from preset design themes
- Adjust your site's colour palette
- Change fonts to match your brand
- Any design changes apply site-wide, so you can maintain a consistent look across all pages.

Step 5: Manage Your Pages
- Click on Homepage (or the Pages section) to manage your site's pages.
- From this section, you can:
- Add new pages to your site
- Delete pages you no longer need
- Edit existing page content and layout
- Adjust individual page settings such as page title, URL slug, and visibility

Step 6: Preview Your Website
- Click Preview to see how your website will look before it goes live.
- Toggle between Desktop and Mobile views to ensure your site is responsive and displays correctly on all devices.
- Review all pages and sections for any layout or content issues before publishing.

Once you are satisfied with your site's content and design, click the Publish button to make your website live.
