How to Change PHP Version in cPanel

1.) Log in to your client area and click on Web Hosting.

2.) Click on the “Panel ” button on the service you want to access

3.) You will be redirected to a new page, and the cPanel page will now open.

4.) As shown in the screenshot, under 'Software' click on the 'Select PHP version' option in your cPanel.
5.) Find the part that says, 'Current PHP version' and click on the drop down menu and select you preferred version.
6.) Click on 'Apply'
7.) You can select a PHP version and extensions that you need according to your needs and save.


8.) You can modify the PHP limits, such as Upload limits, memory limits, and max execution time. 


This can be done from the 'options' tab.

9.) You can also enable a PHP extension from the same page. 

This can be done from the 'Extensions' tab. 

(Ensure your preferred PHP version is already selected)

10.) Scroll down and put a check mark () against the PHP extension you would like enabled. 

(If the extension is not there, please select a different PHP version)

11.) The PHP extension will now be enabled

12.) To disable the extension, deselect the box of the PHP extension
