DNS Changes via the HOSTAFRICA client area

  • Only use this if you need to manage your domain name's DNS records from the HostAfrica client panel
  • Set your domain nameservers to:
    ns1.host-ww.net
    ns2.host-ww.net

You can manage your DNS using the following steps:

  • Under the Domain Management, click on 'Manage DNS'.

  • Click on 'Create DNS Zone' from the new page.

  • Add the required record; for example, you can use IP: 102.130.117.96

  • Click on the 'Add Zone' button and wait for the zone to be created.

  • Congratulations!
Your DNS zone has now been added.

  • Next, you can now proceed and edit an existing record by clicking the 'pen' icon as shown below.

  • Click on the 'Update record' button.

  • The record is now added successfully.

  • To add a new record, for example, an A, CNAME, MX or TXT record, click on 'Add DNS Record'.

  • Click on 'Select Record Type' and choose your record type from the drop down menu.

  • Fill in the required fields (@ can be used in place of your domain name) and click on Add Record.

  • Congratulations!
The record has now been added.
