How to Change the WHM Root Account Password via WHM
If you have root access, you can change the root user password directly from the WHM interface. This is helpful if you want to update credentials for security purposes or regain access without using the terminal.

1. Log in to WHM as Root
Use your root credentials to access WHM:
In the left-hand menu or search bar at the top, type:
Click on the Change Root Password option under the Server Configuration section.
In the Change Root Password screen:
Enter your new password in both fields.
Alternatively, click the Generate Password button to create a strong password.
Be sure to save the new password securely (e.g., in a password manager).
Click the Change Password button.
Choose a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid common words or predictable patterns.
