By default, Apple devices add the signature:
“Sent from my iPhone” (or “Sent from my iPad”) to emails sent from the Mail app.

If you'd prefer to personalize or remove this signature, follow these quick steps:

Steps to Change Your Signature on iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings
Tap the Settings icon on your Home screen.

  2. Scroll down and select Mail
In the Settings menu, scroll until you find Mail and tap on it.

  3. Tap on Signature
This will show the current email signature for all configured accounts.

  4. Edit Your Signature

    • Replace “Sent from my iPhone” with your custom signature (e.g., your name, role, company).

    • You can also remove the text entirely if you prefer no signature.

    • If you use multiple email accounts (e.g., personal and work), you can choose:

      • All Accounts: Same signature for every account.

      • Per Account: Different signatures for each email.

  5. Exit the Settings App
Your changes are saved automatically. Open your Mail app and compose a new email to verify the updated signature.

Tips for a Professional Signature

Consider adding:

  • Your full name
