Before You Begin

Make sure you've backed up any important data. Deleting a cPanel account is irreversible.

Steps to Delete a cPanel Account in WHM
  1. Log in to WHM using your root or reseller credentials.

  2. In the left-hand search bar, type and click on "Terminate Accounts" under the Account Functions section.

  3. You will now see a list of all active cPanel accounts on the server.

Search and Select the Account
  • Use the search field to locate the account by domain name or username.

  • Once found, tick the checkbox next to the account you want to delete.

Terminate the Account
  • Scroll to the bottom (or to the right) and click the "Remove" or "Terminate" button.

  • A confirmation prompt may appear—review and confirm your selection.

 Account Deletion Progress
  • A progress bar will appear at the top right, showing the termination process in real time.

  • Once the account is successfully deleted, you’ll receive a confirmation message such as:
    “Account successfully removed.”

What Happens Next?
  • The domain and associated data are completely removed from the server.

  • You’ll no longer see the account listed in WHM or cPanel.

  • You can reuse the domain or username for a new account later if needed.

If you just want to suspend the account instead of deleting it permanently, go to:
WHM → Account Functions → Suspend Account
