Note: Resellers can limit bandwidth for their cPanel accounts. Root users can limit bandwidth for all accounts on the server.
Steps to Modify Bandwidth Usage in WHM
1. Log in to WHM
  • Access WHM via:

  • Enter your root or reseller credentials.
2. Open the Bandwidth Limit Tool
  • In the left sidebar or search bar, type:

  • Click on Limit Bandwidth Usage under Account Functions.
3. Choose the cPanel Account
  • You can:

    • Type the username in the search box.

    • Or select from the drop-down list of accounts.

  • Click Limit next to the selected account.

4. Set or Remove the Bandwidth Limit
  • To allow unlimited usage, select Unlimited.

  • To set a specific limit, enter the desired value in MB (e.g., 5000 for 5GB).

  • Click Change to apply the new bandwidth setting.

The bandwidth limit has now been updated for the selected cPanel user.

This setting helps ensure that users stay within their allocated usage and protects your server from performance issues due to excessive traffic.
