Log in to your cPanel or DirectAdmin account (you can do this directly from your HostAfrica client area).

Scroll down until you find the "Softaculous Apps Installer" section.
Click on the WordPress icon.

Once inside the Softaculous WordPress area, look for the Import Installations tab (usually in the top menu).
Click on it.

You’ll see two options:
From Other Auto Installers – Select this if WordPress was installed using another app installer.
Manual Installations – Select this if you uploaded WordPress manually (e.g., via FTP or file manager).
If you're unsure, choose "Manual Installations"—it's a safe default.

Click the "Start Scanning for Installations" button.
Softaculous will now scan your hosting account for any existing WordPress sites.

After a few minutes, your WordPress site will appear in Softaculous.
You can now:
Log in to WordPress without entering a password.
Update plugins and themes easily.
Clone, backup, or remove the installation.
Apply security updates directly from Softaculous.

This process does not require your WordPress login credentials.
It only works for WordPress sites already installed on the same hosting account.
If the site is hosted elsewhere, you may need to migrate it first.
