Overview
Once you have purchased a Domain Reseller package, you can begin reselling domain names through WHMCS, Blesta, or any other supported billing and automation platform. This guide walks you through integrating your Domain Reseller account with WHMCS.

Part 1: Installation of Registrar Module

1. Log in to the HOSTAFRICA Client Panel.
2. Navigate to the Domain Reseller area from your HostAfrica Panel.
3. On the new page, click on the Integrations button.
4. Here you will find your API key and API URL, as well as an area to enter your WHMCS IP address in "Allowed IP Addresses".
   This restricts API calls to your WHMCS instance only, as an additional security measure.
   Add your IP address(es) to the whitelist and save the changes.
5. Scroll down to Available Integrations, where you'll find:
   • HOSTAFRICA Domain Reseller Module BLESTA
   • HOSTAFRICA Domain Reseller Module WHMCS


6. Click the WHMCS Module to download it (usually the one on the right).
   • Before proceeding, ensure you have a working WHMCS installation.
   • If you don't already have WHMCS, purchase a licence directly from WHMCS, install the software on your server, and activate your licence.
     Licensing options are available on the WHMCS Pricing & License Plans for Hosting Providers page.


7. Find the downloaded file and confirm it reads exactly: "HOSTAFRICA Domain Reseller Module WHMCS".
8. Extract the zipped file.
   The archive should contain a directory named "modules".
9. Upload the extracted directory to your WHMCS root directory.
   • Your WHMCS installation should already contain a modules directory.
   
   
   • If prompted that the directory already exists, choose Overwrite or Merge (depending on your file manager/FTP client). This will not remove any existing modules — it simply adds the new registrar module alongside those already installed.


10. Once uploaded, log in to your WHMCS admin area.
11. Navigate to
    Setup > Products/Services > Domain Registrars.
    
    
12. Find "HOSTAFRICA Domain Reseller Module" and press Activate on the right side.
13. Once activated, click Configure on the right side.
14. Go back to the HostAfrica Client Panel Reseller Area window (if closed) to retrieve your API Email Address and API Key.
15. Copy the values into WHMCS as follows:
    HostAfrica PanelWHMCS FieldAPI > Email AddressAPI UsernameAPI > KeyAPI Key
    
    
16. Click Save Changes.
17. Continue to
    Setup > Products/Services > Domains Pricing.
    
    
18. Set up the TLDs you want to resell and
    set Auto Registration to "HostafricaDomainResellerModule".
    
    
19. You can check available TLDs for resellers in your HOSTAFRICA Client Panel > Domain Reseller > Pricing.
    
    
20. After setting up the TLDs you want to resell, press Open Pricing for each TLD and set the prices you will resell domains at to your end customer.
21. Once done, scroll down and press Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
    
    

✅ The HOSTAFRICA Domain Reseller Integration is completed.

Part 2: Enabling Access to Previously Owned Domains via Reseller Platform
There's a way to import previously created domain names on HOSTAFRICA into your WHMCS API integration.

1. Log in to the HOSTAFRICA Client Panel.
2. Navigate to Domain Reseller.
3. Click on Domains.
4. Navigate to Assign Domains.
5. In the dialog box, select all domains you want to access through the reseller platform and press Assign.

Your previously registered and now assigned domains will be available for access via the Domain Reseller platform.


Optional Step for WHMCS
If a domain needs to be added to your WHMCS:

1. Create an order for the domain without initiating a registration or transfer action.
2. Open the created domain you want to access through the reseller platform.
3. Fill in the domain name and select registrar HostafricaDomainResellerModule.
