Add Your HmailPlus email to Mozilla Thunderbird

1. First, ensure that you have created your HMailPlus email as guided here: 
How to create a HMailPlus email account from the client area
2. Log in to your HMailPlus webmail:

https://webmail.hmailplus.com/appsuite/

Scroll down and select Connect your device.

Click Configure a specific device or application.

Select your device type, e.g. Windows PC

If you don't have the Mozilla Thunderbird Mail App installed on your PC, kindly visit the official Mozilla Thunderbird website and download it.

5. Open your Thunderbird email application
i) Click on the gear icon (⚙️) on your bottom left

iv) Select 'Mail account'

vi) Enter your name, email address (e.g., [email protected]) and password.

vii) From the new page, click on 'Edit configuration'

• Server: imap.hmailplus.com
• Port: 993
• Security: SSL/TLS
• Username: Your full email address (e.g., [email protected]; replace yourdomain.com with your correct domain name)
• Password: Your email account password

• Server: smtp.hmailplus.com
• Port: 587
• Security: STARTTLS
• Username: Your full email address
   (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com; replace yourdomain.com with your correct domain name)
  
• Password: Your email account password
• 💡 Tip: Always replace [email protected] with your actual email address.

ix) If your mail app has a test option, click on Test

x) Then click on continue

xi) If prompted, enter your email account's password

xii) Click Continue until you get to the finish page.

xii) Now, click on 'Finish'

xiii) Congratulations!
The email account has been added successfully.
