How to enable SSL for SiteBuilder
A step-by-step guide for the Website, store and online scheduler builder only

- This guide is specifically for the Basekit Sitebuilder and does not apply to the Hbuild, Site.Pro or WordPress builders.
- Ensure that your website is properly connected to your domain name and that any DNS changes were made more than 24 hours ago.
- If the DNS has not been updated yet or has been updated recently, the SSL process below may not work.
Log in to your HostAfrica Client Panel and click on "Edit Website” on your builder under Quick Actions.
- You will be redirected to a new tab. Click on 'Menu' from the new tab
- Click on 'Settings' from the Menu
- Under 'Advanced settings' click on 'Security'
- Turn on the 'Redirect to HTTPS' toggle to force secure connections
- Your website is now secured with an active SSL certificate.
- Your website should now load securely over HTTPS.
- If you receive this error,
'We cannot redirect http to https traffic for your website because some of your domains do not have certificates', ensure that your domain's DNS is correctly configured to point to your Website Builder.
