How to transfer a domain name to HostAfrica

1. Log in to your HOSTAFRICA client account

2. Click on the "Domains" tab and select "Transfer Domains to Us".

3. Enter the name of the domain you wish to transfer and click on the search button to check its availability.

4. The system will now check the status of the domain and if the domain is available to transfer, you will see the following screen; click on the transfer arrows

5. Click on the 'Transfer' button.

6. Accept the domain name transfer agreement by clicking on 'I Understand'

Please note that:

You're not eligible to transfer a domain for a 60-day period after the following events:

• •Registering or transferring a domain name

• •Updating the registrant contact's organization

• •Updating the registrant contact's first or last name and where an organization is not listed

7. On the next screen please check the details, provide your EPP/transfer code(where applicable), and ensure that you select the option for free "Domain Warranty" to avoid losing your domain name incase you forget to renew it in time at the next renewal date.

Proceed to payment, click on 'Pay Now'

8. Click "Yes, let's go". 

9. On the next screen, proceed to Pay your Invoice. (If prompted, please accept our terms of service)


You have now initialised the transfer of the domain to HOSTAFRICA.
