Adding the HMail App to your Android Phone
A step-by-step guide

- First, create your email account from your PC as guided here: How to create a HMailPlus email
- Once the email account has been created from your PC
Open your phone’s web browser; in this example, we will use Google Chrome.
- Visit the Webmail Page from your phone's browser
In the search/address bar, type: webmail.hmailplus.com
- Then press or hit Enter/Search.
- Log In to Your Mailbox
Enter your Professional Email and Workspace email address and password.
Then, tap Sign In.
- Look for the Install Prompt
You should see a message saying:
"Install Your HOSTAFRICA Mailbox like an App".
- Start the Installation
Tap the Install button.
A short instruction guide will appear.
Tap OK to continue.
- Add to Your Home Screen
If using Chrome, tap the hamburger icon (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Scroll down and select Add to Home screen.
- Choose Installation Option
A pop-up will appear asking you to either install the app or Create a shortcut.
Select Install the app.
- Finish Up
Wait a few moments while it installs.
Close Chrome and check your phone’s apps; you should now see the HMailPlus app icon.
- All done!
You can now open your mailbox directly from your home screen and start sending and receiving emails without opening your browser every time.
