How to set up Two-Step Authentication (2FA) in DirectAdmin

- Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an extra layer of security if someone attempts to hack into your account after getting your password.
Here are the steps:
- Log in to your DirectAdmin account and select “Two-Step Authentication” under the Advanced Features section in the DirectAdmin panel.
- Click on Two-Step Authentication and Create a New Secret:
- If you are using an app (We recommend using the Google Authenticator App), you can now scan the QR code:
- Check if your 2FA is set up correctly by testing your phone’s code in DirectAdmin:
- If the test is successful, you can turn on 2FA by selecting the checkbox option “Require valid Two-Step Authentication Code to log in to this account” and pressing the Save button.
