How to set 2FA(two-factor) on your Direct Admin Hosting
Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an extra layer of security if someone attempts to hack into your account after getting your password. Here are the steps:

1. Log into your DirectAdmin account, and select the “Two Steps Authentication” under the Advanced Features section in the Direct Admin panel.
2. Click on Two-Step Authentication and Create a New Secret:
3. If you are using an app (We recommend using the Google Authenticator App) you can now scan the QR code:
4. Check if your 2FA is set up correctly by testing your phone’s code in DirectAdmin:
5. If the test is successful you can turn on 2FA by selecting the checkbox option “Require valid Two-Step Authentication Code to login to this account” and press the Save button.
